As some of you may know I just celebrated 2 years free of depression! This is a miracle. You see, while today I am happy and my relationship to food and my body is healthy, this wasn’t always the case.
For 14 years I struggled with depression, food addiction, binge eating and body image issues.
But today I’m free. I’m no longer suffering from depression and no longer binge eat, nor overeat to the point of discomfort. I now live a balanced harmonious life and feel at peace.
I made this shift through following a personal training fitness program and developing a spiritual practice. Prayer and meditation helped me release my addictive patterns and heal my depression. My determined commitment to personal growth and healing myself helped me clear my perception of my body and life.
Through understanding and strengthening my faith in the Creator I was able to overcome my battle with depression and food addiction without medication.
I can happily say there is freedom from depression, eating disorders and body image issues.
